MARRIAGE* William Dykes married Eliza (?) I have a feeling that Eliza's last name was Holland because in 1870 and 1880 there is a Mary listed as niece. Daniel doesn't seem to have had an older sister so I am thinking the child's father was Eliza's brother. However, a search of the census does not show a family with an Elizabeth of the appropriate age.2
